The hardest part of a bone health check is rarely the scan itself. It is the logistics: finding a clinic, getting a referral, taking time off, driving across the county, sitting in a waiting room. For something you are meant to repeat over the years, that friction adds up, and good intentions quietly slip down the to-do list.

Removing the trip

A REMS scan is portable, so the appointment can come to you. Instead of building your day around a hospital visit, you set aside about 45 minutes at home or at your office, and the scan happens there. Because REMS uses ultrasound rather than X-rays, there is no radiation and nothing to recover from afterward.

Where we serve

We are based in Gig Harbor and travel across Western Washington, including the South Puget Sound and Greater Seattle. If you are in the region and have been meaning to check in on your bones, the distance to the nearest machine is no longer the obstacle, because the machine comes to you.

What you get from one visit

A single scan reads four things — bone density, bone quality, your 5-year fracture risk, and body composition — and your operator reviews the results with you on the spot. A full report follows by email, which you are welcome to share with your physician. No referral is needed to book.

Who finds it useful

Mobile scanning tends to appeal to people who value their time and want to stay ahead of bone changes: women in perimenopause and beyond, anyone with a family history of fractures, and people tracking how a treatment or lifestyle change is working. You can see who a scan is for if you are not sure where you fit.

Simple and self-pay

A scan is $275 at launch ($350 standard) and is HSA/FSA eligible, with no referral required. When you are ready, book a complimentary appointment and we will come to you anywhere in our Western Washington service area.
